Stabilization of thin structures in diesel particle filters with the help of foamed ceramic
In this process the clearance between the layers is being stabilised by a net of fine bridges, the pores of foamed ceramics. The layers can now be very thin like thin ceramic foils. The gas flow between the layers is practically not restricted by the thin bridges.
