Mindjet Garners Two Distinguished Industry Awards
Mindjet, the global leader in software for visualizing and using information, today announced that it has garnered industry accolades from the San Francisco Business Times and Software Magazine based on the company's growth and revenue. The recognition from two influential publications in the business and software categories reflects Mindjet's continued momentum with the adoption of its flagship product, MindManager, and its overall presence in the marketplace.
“We are honored to be a part of the San Francisco Business Times' Fast 100, especially since the Silicon Valley is home to many accelerated growth companies,” said Scott Raskin, CEO. “Being considered for this elite list and deemed a top software vendor by Software Magazine underscores our continuing momentum and well accepted products.”
Based in San Francisco, CA, Mindjet is considered the 85th fastest growing private company in the Bay Area according to the San Francisco Business Times’ rankings. With a large customer base of extremely devoted product evangelists and at least 85 percent of the Fortune 100, adopters are using MindManager's easy-to-use interface for visually managing ideas, information, and processes in a limitless variety of applications.
With the support of Price Waterhouse Coopers, San Francisco Business Times surveyed 1,500 Bay Area companies to compile the final list. All companies had to be headquartered in the Bay Area, privately held between 2004 and 2006 and revenues of over $200,000 in 2004.
In addition, Mindjet ranked #287 in Software Magazine’s annual Software 500 – climbing 60 positions in two years. The award recognizes the hottest technology providers in software, companies exhibiting superior innovation and versatility, and leading organizations in successful technology investment and implementation. The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers. Companies on this list target medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
Among other recent accomplishments, Mindjet announced that it has made the first ever Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. With an impressive three-year growth of over 150 percent, Mindjet ranked 2,334 on the overall list.
