Method for improved photoacoustic imaging

Using the offered technology, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of photoacoustic imaging using pulsed laser diodes can be significantly improved compared to standard noise reduction methods.

Thus, it possible to use inexpensive pulsed laser diodes instead of the commonly used Nd:YAG lasers.
