Prospects of success for German PV technology in North Africa
Along with its internationalisation strategy the leading-edge cluster Solarvalley Central Germany is therefore inviting to its annual information event with a regional focus on the two Northern African countries Morocco and Tunisia. The meeting will take place at the International Congress Center of Munich (ICM) during the Intersolar Europe fair.
The agenda on 14 June 2012 comprises 11 presentations on topics such as political framework conditions for photovoltaics in North Africa, opportunities for cooperation and market development as well as technological solutions for arid climates.
Existing barriers and adaptation processes of the German photovoltaic sector shall be pointed out. Up to date information on the Moroccan market will be presented by the national energy agency ADEREE, the agency for solar energy MASEN and the recently founded research institute IRESEN. The market in Tunisia will be introduced by the national energy agency ANME together with GIZ.
The official side-event of the Intersolar Europe Conference 2012 is conjointly organised by the leading-edge cluster Solarvalley Central Germany and the EESA joint initiative (a project of VDI/VDE-IT) with the support of GIZ and IMG Investment and Marketing Corporation of Saxony-Anhalt.
The Intersolar Europe fair trade expects 2.000 exhibitors and 80.000 visitors this year and, therefore, poses ideal framework conditions for presenting and discussing this topic. The leading-edge cluster Solarvalley Central Germany again exhibits at the joint booth of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt in Hall A6 Booth 170.
Online registration is possible under http://www.eesa-sachsen.de/intersolar.
