Battery Conference April 2015 in Aachen

Scientists, developers and engineers meet on 28th -29th April 2015 in Aachen at the international symposium “Advanced Battery Power” to exchange the latest research results, studies and trends and to discuss them.

The Call for Papers for submitting presentation topics and scientific posters ends on 31st October 2014.

“The proposals already received are excellent,” says organiser Bernd Hömberg from the Haus der Technik in Essen, Germany, “and we hope that we will break the record with over 200 submissions for the seventh symposium Advanced Battery Power.

The scientific advisory board with its leading international experts from all areas of battery technology will carry out the evaluation and compilation of the programme. Prof. Dr. Dirk Uwe Sauer from the ISEA-Institute of RWTH Aachen and Prof. Dr. Martin Winter from the battery research centre MEET in Munster are the conference chairs.

The two-day symposium Advanced Battery Power is supplemented and rounded off by the preceding battery day NRW on 27th April 2015, carried out under the patronage of NRW Minister for Science, Svenja Schulze.

The Eurogress in Aachen will therefore become the central world stage for international battery research in April 2015.

About the Haus der Technik (HDT) 

The Haus der Technik e.V. (HDT) is the oldest technological further education institute in Germany, a satellite institute of the RWTH Aachen University and cooperative partner of the universities of Bonn, Braunschweig, Duisburg-Essen and Munster. Since 2005, the Haus der Technik has offered courses of study completed with a university degree largely accompanied by practical work. The courses are developed and carried out in collaboration with HDT’s university cooperation partners. 

The HDT maintains its own quality management system, which ensures that the high standards are maintained as required by the members of the “Wuppertaler Kreis” as a federal association for professional further development.
