Fraunhofer IBMT at the 100th RSNA 2014 in Chicago – Custom-tailored Ultrasound Technology
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) was founded in 1915 to promote the highest standards of radiology and related sciences in teaching and research and development.
According to the organization, which is the organizer, the “RSNA”, the annual world´s largest and most important conference for radiologists and scientists in Chicago is named.
This year, from 30 November to 05 December, the RSNA celebrates its 100th anniversary. The focus of the RSNA Congress lies on news from radiology. Representatives from academia and industry can get information about the latest developments and trends in this field.
The Fraunhofer IBMT has a broad and long-standing expertise in the field of ultrasound. At this year's RSNA 2014 it presents at the German Pavilion, South Hall A 2965A, a MR-compatible version from its new multi-channel ultrasound platform with a modular structure.
In addition to this highlight the Fraunhofer IBMT shows its multitude of technologies of medical ultrasound, from special transducers scalable modular ultrasonic systems and new ultrasound procedures (ultrafast ultrasound imaging) to specific applications, such as therapy monitoring and opto-acoustic.
