Analytical lamps monitor air pollution in cities
Optical measurement methods are able to detect and quantify low concentrations of pollutants like sulphur oxid, nitrogen oxid, ozone or VOCs.
Thereby it is possible to comply with regulatory standards to improve air quality.
A variety of methods exists to measure and analyse gases, liquids and solids. Heraeus produces a range of specialty light sources, like PID-, Deuterium or Xenon lamps fit for this purpose.
Depending on the requirements, qualitative and quantitative analysis is performed based on absorption, fluorescence or ionization principle.
Precise and high-quality light sources from Heraeus provide stable analysis results. In a very efficient and economical way air quality can be monitored, fire risks can be recognized or exhaust emission can be proven – for a safe and clean environment.
