Empowering Tomorrow: Future of Batteries

The international Conference Advanced Battery Power will once again provide exciting insights into the research and development of batteries in 2024. Participants can look forward to presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions and keynotes by renowned representatives from research and industry, including Prof. William Chueh (Standford University, USA), Nicolas Steinbacher (Northvolt, Germany) and Prof. Kohei Uosaki (National Institute for Materials Science, Japan).

With over 350 presentations and posters submitted, the expectations for the 16th International Conference “Advanced Battery Power – Kraftwerk Batterie”, which will take place from April 10 to 11, 2024 at the MCC in Münster, were once again exceeded. The number of participants is also expected to be higher than last year.

The conference is jointly organized by the HDT (Haus der Technik), the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) of the RWTH Aachen University, the MEET Battery Research Center at the University of Münster and the Helmholtz Institute Münster of Forschungszentrum Jülich.

The conference will precisely address the trends that will shape battery research today and in the future. These include broad aspects of the circular economy of batteries, including sustainability and recycling, as well as research on production and next-generation battery systems. Furthermore, data-based solutions and artificial intelligence will significantly influence the future of battery research.

The accompanying trade exhibition offers a platform for 60 national and international companies from the fields of industry, research and practice. The get-together on the first evening and the poster award ceremony are further highlights of the conference.

The English-language conference will take place in person. Online participation is also possible.

Further information on the program and the opportunity to register can be found at https://battery-power.eu/en/advanced-battery-power/

In the run-up to the conference, on April 9, 2024, participants can already find out about current topics in battery technology in 10 online seminars:
