IVAM Marketing Prize recognizes convincing technology marketing for the tenth time

The competition for the IVAM Marketing Prize was launched in 2009, because there were various awards for technical innovations, but none that appreciated creative ideas for the marketing of high-tech products.

The prize takes into account the particular challenges of technology marketing: the difficulty in transporting the benefits of highly specific and complex technologies, products or services in a few words or via images.

In the past a broad range of measures and campaigns has been awarded, including single advertisements, full trade fair presentations, image videos, or multimedia campaigns to launch a product or to establish a brand.

“We deliberately do not specify on the extent of the marketing measures which the companies can submit to the competition,” explains Inga Goltermann, authorized signatory and the project manager responsible for the marketing prize at IVAM.

“We want to give a chance to small companies and start-ups that are just beginning or having few resources, but not exclude companies with more experience and a higher marketing budget. Our jury takes these factors into account when evaluating the concepts and deciding on the winner.”

For the participating companies, the competition itself is also a useful tool for self-marketing. The prize will draw public attention to the nominees and winners and help them cultivate their image.

As organizer of the competition IVAM will increase the promotional effects using its own publication platforms, an extensive press distribution list and social media channels.

The winner can also use the opportunities the IVAM network offers to connect with partners and customers of the high-tech industry for one year free of charge.

The tenth IVAM Marketing Prize will be awarded in April 2018 on the occasion of the IVAM High-tech Summit and the Annual General Meeting. Applications are due by February 9, 2018. Conditions of participation and application forms are available on the Internet.
