Automation solutions for all types of biogas plants
The Siemens Industry Automation Division will present products and systems for integrated, economic and safe automation in the biogas industry, both for smaller agricultural biogas plants and for large industrial plants. Siemens products like the modular and scalable Simatic PCS 7 process control system can also be used to automate several plants networked together, such as a sewage or waste processing plant in combination with a biogas plant.
Use of process instruments to monitor pressure, temperature, flow, levels and limits will also be demonstrated. MicroSAM, the rugged micro-process gas chromatograph, and Sitrans CV, the natural gas chromatograph, analyze the prepared biogas before it is channeled into the natural gas distribution network. The high accuracy and availability of these Ex-protected devices form the basis for precise energy accounting.
Siemens will present its products for the biogas industry in Hall L-2, Booth 2-313.
