Easily applicable clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter

The device measures practically any liquid and meets the specific requirements of industries such as water and wastewater, HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning), power and chemical. Sitrans FST020 can be installed on pipes up to DN 9000 (360 inches) in size, and because of the simplified configuration options and setup, it can be quickly commissioned.

Sitrans FST020 offers features tailored to the requirements of basic water and wastewater, HVAC, power, chemical and general process industry applications. These include single channel measurement and simplified configuration options that make product selection straightforward while still offering solutions that fit industry requirements. It also comes with RS232 communication and a simple and user-friendly design that ensures easy set-up and configuration. The clamp-on flowmeter Sitrans FST020 is particularly suitable for retrofit applications and installations where corrosive, toxic or high pressure liquids rule out the option of cutting the pipe.

The accuracy of the new Sitrans FST020 clamp-on flowmeter is in the 1-2 % range and as with all other clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters from Siemens it offers great performance and reliable measuring results. Sitrans FST020 also features the optional transit time ultrasonic WideBeam sensor technology, allowing continued operation on even the most challenging applications. It offers high repeatability and sensitivity to changes in fluid type or physical properties.
