Number of young people in qualifying programmes of the transition sector down by 3% in 2013

The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decrease of 3% from the previous year.

Qualifying programmes of the transition sector are intended to improve young people's chances of getting an apprenticeship by acquiring basic vocational knowledge or by obtaining a secondary general or intermediate school certificate later on.
