ABIOTIC STRESS MODULATOR – ASM protects plants against abiotic stress

ASM (Acibenzolar-S-Methyl) improves the resistance of plants against abiotic stresses. ASM has been tested successfully and protects crops and model plants against frost, drought and/or salinity.

Commercial Opportunity Abiotic stresses are serious threats to agriculture and the natural status of the environment. Increased salinization of arable land is expected to have devastating global effects, resulting in 30% of land loss within the next 25 years, and up to 50% loss of arable land by the year 2050. Therefore, solutions to boost stress tolerance in crop plants are urgently required.
