AcouMotion – Interactive Auditory Motion Games for mobile phones

AcouMotion is a link betw een motion-sensing and

Interactive Sonification. Based on motion sensors integrated in mobile phones, motion sequences can be measured and used to control audio games where the feedback is given fully via sound: the movements of virtual sport equipments such as virtual balls and their interaction w ith a virtual racket represented by the phone are conveyed by using continuous non-speech sound. This highly interactive feedback allows an orientation of the player in 3Dspace, so that a sports game can be played. With the aid of AcouMotion, virtual sports games that involve sportive body motion can be played, and furthermore, multi-player games can be realized.
