Arrangement of energy filters for ion implantation systems

In the case of ion implantation systems, e.g. for silicon wafer, the ions are slowed down in the wafer material and are securely positioned at a certain depth. But in a number of applications a distribution of the implanted ions in a wider depth range is desired.
