Device for antimicrobial door opening

The present invention relates to a device for antimicrobial operation of doors or switches which consists of a bent, hooked piece at the distal end. It serves as device to reduce the microbial spreading of germs in clinical institutions and several areas in the fields of food technology. Additionally, it can even be used to prevent the transmitting of germ at machines (e.g. ATMs) or shopping trolleys.

The device’s handhold is composed of an onesided open cylinder that is shaped er-gonomically and thus fits perfectly into a human’s palm. Furthermore, it features a dose-metering cap at the proximal end and presents a hollow inside to store commer-cially available disinfection tanks. The handhold can be folded in and out and, like the disinfecting agent, it is released at the touch of a button. Disinfection tanks used can be gel tubes as well as spray bottles.
