Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) using Laser Plasma Accelerator
The general idea of the present invention is to use electrons generated under very well determined experimental conditions with an ultraintense laser in cancer treatment. A device for cancer treatment using electrons comprises a laser having features of the laser operated at Laboratoire d'Optique Appliquée at Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France and/or operated with parameters as described below.
