Improved method for refractive surgery through a “vacuum trepan”

The invention constitutes the conceptualization of a vacuum trepan, which enables a spot specific, gentle and reversible removal of the epithelium. Furthermore, the innovative method enables a much improved healing of the wound in comparison to alternative methods.
