Measurement Set-Up for Intermodulation Analysis Metrological

The invention describes a measuring process and set-up to reduce memory effects of power amplifiers by recording an optimized operational state via harmonic load and source pull in both the high frequency area and the envelope area. The objective of the measuring system is to analyse broadband power amplifiers. In current and future broadband mobile radio networks emphasis is placed on high data transmission rates. This is achieved in two ways: by a broadband transmission (in MHz area) and by more complex modulation algorithms. Both methods make high demands of the linearity of the transmission routes, especially of the broadband performance transistors.
