E-world energy & water on February 9 – 11, 2010
E-world energy & water is the central communication platform of the energy industry. The trade fair will attract greater international attention due to the “Consulates Day” on February 10, 2010.
National representatives such as consuls, diplomats or employees of chambers of foreign trade or energy initiatives will be invited to obtain information about the latest developments and to look for dialogue with the companies at E-world. After the successful premiere last year, the second “Consulates Day” will thus once again offer exhibitors and visitors the possibility of establishing contacts to international business partners.
The participants will be able to expect an informative programme with lectures, discussions and tours of the fair which will set different main focal points. In addition to a joint walk around E-world which will offer an initial overview of the range available from the exhibitors, two tours on the subjects of “Renewable Energies” and “Smart Energy” will be staged for the international visitors. In direct conversations, the guests will be able to exchange opinions with the companies, to make new business contacts or to intensify existing contacts. For example, the consulates last year took this opportunity to speak with exhibitors at E-world selectively about projects and possible solution approaches.
The “Consulates Day” is being organised by E-world energy & water GmbH in cooperation with Essener Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft (EWG – “Essen Economic Promotion Company”). In this way, the city of Essen will present itself to the foreign representatives as an economic centre and an energy capital. By cooperating with the economic sections of the participating countries, E-world will consolidate its orientation as the international meeting place of the energy industry.
